Building on the success of the empowerment program in Ikorodu, FemCo extended their efforts to three villages in Ogun State (Liyokun in Obafemi Owode Local Government, Ala-Ijebu, and Oke-Odun in Odogbolu Local Government) to empower fifteen (15) single mothers. Each beneficiary received 15 brooded Noiler birds, 2 bags of grower feed, 1 sachet of divertamin, and a rearing cage. The introduction of Noiler birds has had a significant impact on these households, increasing both egg and meat consumption, as well as offering opportunities for restocking through the purchase of more Noiler birds.
