In November 2022, twenty-five households in Akodo-Ise, a community in Ibeju-Lekki Local Government area of Lagos State, benefited from the Noiler empowerment program. Each household received ten (10) brooded Noiler birds, one (1) bag of grower feed, and one (1) sachet of divertamin. The birds were effortlessly raised until they were ready for sale and consumption, and the female Noiler birds also provided eggs for the households. The success of this program has encouraged the beneficiaries to reinvest money from sales to purchase more birds, thus making Noiler bird rearing a continuous business in the community.
