In 2019, Market Development for Niger-Delta, sponsored by USAID, empowered 25 Mother units with 32,000 Noiler birds in Edo, Imo, and Rivers states. Additionally, in the same year, 200 rural women received training and empowerment with 10,000 Noiler birds in Ondo state. These empowerments have brought about a significant shift in the nutritional and economic status of individual households in these regions, with elevated protein intake levels due to increased access to Noiler eggs and meat.
