“I am a father of sixteen children with four wives. Only four of my children were able to attend school because I did not have the financial means to send all of them. On September 22, 2021, the Noiler team visited our community in Gombe State to sensitize us about the benefits of rearing Noilers. I was intrigued by the potential benefits for my family, so I decided to buy birds for my wives as Smallholder Household Farmers (SHFs).
Today, we have a flock of 200 Noilers. We eat some chicken and sell the rest. The money from the sale of adult Noilers in January has allowed me to send all my children back to school. I am grateful for the opportunity to raise Noilers and for the benefits that they have brought to my family.”
