ECOWAS Aviana Expo 2025: Advancing Poultry Farming and Agricultural Growth in West Africa with Noiler

We participated in the ECOWAS Aviana West Africa International Expo 2025, held at the International Conference Centre, University of Ibadan, on June 18 and 19. The event brought together key stakeholders across the agricultural value chain to explore practical solutions for unlocking West Africa’s agricultural potential.

As conversations around food security, sustainable livestock production, and farmer empowerment continue to gain urgency, we contributed to shaping discussions that matter for the future of poultry farming in Nigeria and across the region.

Unlocking Agricultural Potential in West Africa

With the theme “Unlocking Agricultural Potential in West Africa,” the expo convened policy makers, industry leaders, researchers, and agribusinesses committed to driving sustainable agricultural development.

The event highlighted the importance of:

  • Strengthening regional collaboration
  • Increasing investment in agriculture
  • Expanding access to innovative farming solutions
  • Supporting smallholder farmers with practical, scalable systems

These priorities closely align with our vision of building a more inclusive and productive poultry sector.

Showcasing Noiler’s Impact in Poultry Farming

At Booths F3, F5, and F7, visitors engaged with solutions designed to improve productivity, resilience, and profitability in poultry farming.

Noiler stood out as a practical solution for farmers across West Africa, offering:

  • Dual-purpose benefits for both meat and egg production
  • Strong adaptability to local climates and rural conditions
  • Lower cost of production compared to conventional breeds
  • Reliable income opportunities for smallholder farmers

Through direct engagement with farmers and stakeholders, we demonstrated how improved poultry breeds can play a key role in closing the protein gap and strengthening livelihoods.

Visitors also gained insights into best practices in poultry management, animal health, and sustainable farming systems that support long-term success.

Leadership Driving Agricultural Transformation

Our Group Managing Director, Dr. Ayoola Oduntan, who served as Chairman of the Expo, emphasized the need for continued commitment to innovation and resilience within the agricultural sector.

He highlighted that while challenges remain, the opportunities for growth across West Africa are significant, especially with the right investments in farmers, infrastructure, and sustainable practices.

In recognition of his contributions, he received an award for Leadership in the Sustainability and Productivity of the Agricultural and Livestock Industry. This recognition reflects a long-standing commitment to advancing agriculture and improving food systems across the region.

A Strong Team Representation

Our booths were actively supported by key members of our leadership team, who engaged directly with visitors, shared insights, and highlighted best practices in poultry farming and sustainable agriculture:

We were also honored to welcome Mr. Olasunkanmi Olaleye, Oyo State Commissioner for Agriculture and Rural Development, to our booths. His visit reinforced the importance of public-private collaboration in strengthening food security and advancing agricultural development across the region.

Strengthening Collaboration for Food Security

The expo also provided an opportunity to reinforce the importance of collaboration across the agricultural ecosystem.

Our participation reflects a broader commitment to:

  • Supporting farmer education and capacity building
  • Expanding access to improved poultry genetics
  • Promoting sustainable and climate-resilient farming practices
  • Strengthening partnerships across the value chain

Engagements with stakeholders, including government representatives, highlighted the role of public and private sector collaboration in driving meaningful agricultural progress.

Building the Future of Poultry Farming in West Africa
